{"id":2845,"date":"2026-02-05T07:23:38","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T05:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/?post_type=events&#038;p=2845"},"modified":"2026-03-09T09:50:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T07:50:18","slug":"global-summit-education-in-the-age-of-artificial-intelligence","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/events\/global-summit-education-in-the-age-of-artificial-intelligence\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Summit: Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n<p>The Jerusalem Museum of Tolerance hosted education ministers from around the world as part of a conference focused on education in the age of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n<p>The conference opened with a speech by U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, who emphasized that artificial intelligence is \u201cperhaps the most significant technological change since the personal computer,\u201d but clarified that it should be guided by values: \u201cIt can cook us food and warm us \u2014 or burn down our house.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>Ambassador Friedman stressed that \u201ceducation based on misinformation is not education at all,\u201d and highlighted the importance of international cooperation in shaping responsible innovation.<\/p>\n\n<p>Throughout the day, in-depth discussions were held with leadership and educators and innovators, around issues of the future of learning, technology, ethics, and educational responsibility.<\/p>\n\n<p>During the visit, delegations toured the exhibition &#8216;From Darkness to Light: 06:29&#8217;, and were first introduced to a new project in advanced development: an exhibition entirely based on artificial intelligence technologies, expected to open to the public during 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p>The conference was attended by delegations from Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Panama, Paraguay, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, and Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3643,"template":"","class_list":["post-2845","events","type-events","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/events\/2845","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/events"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/events"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/events\/2845\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":3502,"href":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/events\/2845\/revisions\/3502"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3643"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/motj.webistory.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2845"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
